When I saw you, I liked you;

I gave you the bible, and you took it;

I preached to you, and you believed;

I texted you, but didn’t reply;

I emailed you, you didn’t respond,

I called you, and you were busy;

Then you went mute, I still listed;

Then wiped your tears, you slapped my hand away;

Then you trashed me, and I forgave you;

How much good is good?

How much kindness is enough?

How much love is sufficient?
